今年で6回目を迎える「さっぽろユキテラス」は、札幌の都心に憩いとにぎわいを創出している「札幌市北３条広場“アカプラ”」を舞台に、雪と光をモチーフにして札幌の冬の魅力を発信するプロジェクトです。
札幌の冬の寒さはとても厳しく、降り積もる雪は時に厄介者として扱われることもありますが、見方を変えると雪は美しく、このまちならではの特徴と言える大切な資源です。「さっぽろユキテラス」は、その資源をアーティストの創造力で魅力的に演出し、この冬この場にしか生まれないサイトスペシフィックな体験を提案します。
今年は、2つのゾーンで雪を楽しむことができます。
「鑑賞ゾーン」では、建築家がデザインした雪の美術館「スノーミュージアム」の中に国内外で活躍するアーティストの作品を展示。外壁面でも映像プログラムを上映します。さらに「体験ゾーン」では雪の中での飲食や、スノーボード、テントを張っての焚き火ストーブなど、都会の中でアウトドア体験ができます。
また昨年に引き続き「さっぽろウインターチェンジ2020」、「さっぽろ垂氷まつり2020」と連携して、札幌の冬を盛り上げます。雪と光が創り出す8日間限りの世界をお楽しみください。

SAPPORO YUKITERRACE 2020
With Sapporo Kita 3-jo Plaza “Akapla” offering a new space for relaxation and festivity in Sapporo’s city center as the stage, Sapporo Yukiterrace in its sixth year continues to convey Sapporo’s signature winter allure with the motif of snow and light.
Sapporo’s harsh cold winters and accumulated snowfall can be seen as an obstacle to daily life. However, a little change in perspective reveals that not only is the snow breathtaking, but also a very special asset unique to the city. In Sapporo Yukiterrace, artists creatively play with this resource in a fascinating way, offering sight-specific experiences that could only happen here and now.
This year’s edition allows visitors to enjoy snow in two zones. The Appreciation Zone showcases a “Snow Museum” designed by an architect, exhibiting artwork from artists active both domestically and internationally. A video program is screened on the outer wall of the museum.
What’s more, visitors can experience outdoor activities such as eating and drinking, snowboarding, or use an open-air fire stove in a tent right in the middle of the city at the Experience Zone.
Following the previous edition, this year’s edition enlivens Sapporo’s winter in collaboration with Sapporo Winter Change 2020 and Sapporo Icicle Festival 2020.

会田大也（アーティスト／ミュージアムエデュケーター）

山口情報芸術センター[YCAM]、東京大学大学院特任助教、あいちトリエンナーレを経て、2019年12月より再びYCAM勤務。専門はミュージアムエデュケーション。ワークショップの手法を応用し、組織の人材育成や地域コミュニティの形成などに携わる。キュレーターとしての活動：国際巡回展「MEDIA/ART KITCHEN」、「あいちトリエンナーレ2019」等。アーティストとしての活動：「瀬戸内国際芸術祭2019」、「みるこころみるかえりみる」等。

After working at the Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media (YCAM), and holding the position of Project Assistant Professor at the Tokyo University, he returned to YCAM since December 2019.
He specializes in museum education. Applying the method of workshops, he gets involved in the corporate nurturing of talents, and community building at the local level.
Curator activities: Traveling Exhibition “Media/Art Kitchen”, Aichi Triennale 2019, etc. Artist activities: Setouchi Triennale 2019, “Look At, Look Into, Look Back”, etc.

樫見菜々子（美術作家）

1980年生まれ、札幌市在住。自身と事物・現象との距離を測りながら、そこに現れる境界や潜む気配、痕跡について考察し、刺繍による平面作品やインスタレーションを制作している。主な展覧会に、2019年 「night bird」Gallery Camellia 東京、2015年「知覚されるアート」モエレ沼公園ガラスのピラミッド2F、2014年「セブン・ストーリーズ」本郷新記念札幌彫刻美術館、「真實在他方 Reality is Somewhere out there」CRANE GALLERY 台湾 など。

Born in 1980. Lives in Sapporo.
Nanako Kashimi creates plane works and installations of embroidery, with considering the distance between herself and matters/phenomena, and then with being dedicated to the borders showed up in the gap, the signs hidden behind it, and the trace reserved there.
Main exhibitions include “Night Bird” (Gallery Camellia, Tokyo) in 2019, “Perceived Art” (Moerenuma Park Glass Pyramid 2F, Sapporo) in 2015, “Seven Stories” (Hongo Shin Memorial Museum of Sculpture, Sapporo) in 2014,  and “Reality is Somewhere out there” (Crane Gallery, Taiwan).

時里充（アーティスト）＋

福留麻里（ダンサー・振付家）

画面やカメラに関する実験と観察を行い、認知や計量化といったデジタル性に関する作品を制作発表している時里充と、身体と環境の関係性を探りながら様々な場や状況、人と共に踊る福留麻里による共同制作。出来事としての映像と、物質としての身体を介しながら、映像とパフォーマンスの間で、「起点」と「時間」について考察している。これまでの作品に、2018年 時里充+福留麻里「ローディング・エレファント」（キラリ☆ふじみ）、2019年 時里充＋Aokid＋福留麻里「テーブルテニスダンサーズ」（NTT ICC）。

This work was produced by two artists. Mitsuru Tokisato creates and delivers artworks related to the digital aspects of cognition and quantification through the experimentation and observation of screens and cameras. Mari Fukutome performs dances with people, in various places and contexts, while investigating the relation of the body with its environment.
Together, they reflect on “origins” and “time” for the moment of a video and performance, where the video represents an event, and bodies the material.
Previous collaborations include Loading Elephant (Kirari Fujimi) in 2018, and Table Tennis Dancers (NTT InterCommunication Center (ICC) in 2019, Tokyo) with the artist Aokid.

早川祐太（美術家）

1984年岐阜県出身。東京都在住。2010年武蔵野美術大学大学院造形研究科彫刻コース修了。
重力や空気、水の表面張力、人体の知覚といった「現象」を取り入れた彫刻やそれらを構成した空間を制作している。できる（生成）とつくる（造形）、そこから生まれる“もの”の所存に触れる試みとしての作品を制作している。主な展覧会に「クリテリオム 95 早川祐太」(水戸芸術館現代美術センター/茨城/2018)、「早川祐太×高石晃×加納俊輔 [ 三つの体、約百八十兆の細胞 ]」（札幌大通地下ギャラリー500m美術館/札幌/ 2015）、「 i 」（HAGIWARA PROJECTS / 東京 / 2013）、｢複合回路Vol.2早川祐太｣ （gallery αM/東京/2010）、「from/to #5」 (Wako Works of Art/東京/2009)など。

Born in 1984, in Gifu Prefecture. Lives in Tokyo. Completed the Sculpture Course of Musashino Art University Graduate School’s Molding Research Department, in 2010.
Yuta Hayakawa creates sculptures which focused in “phenomena”: gravity, air, surface tension of water, and cognition of human body, and spaces constituted by such factors substantially. He produces works as attempts to explore of being formed (as process), of being created(as act), and the existence of “matter” as their result. Main exhibitions include “Criterium 95 Yuta Hayakawa” (Contemporary Art Gallery, Art Tower Mito, Ibaraki) in 2018, “Yuta Hayakawa×Akira Takaishi×Syunsuke Kano “”Three Bodies, About 180 trillion Cells”(Sapporo Odori 500-m Underground Walkway Gallery, Sapporo) in 2015, “i” (Hagiwara Projects, Tokyo) in 2013, “Complex Circuit Vol.2 Yuta Hayakawa” (Gallery αM, Tokyo) in 2010, “from/to #5” (Wako Works of Art, Tokyo) in 2009.

大﨑のぶゆき（美術家）

2000年 京都市立芸術大学大学院修了。「未見の星座」（東京都現代美術館、2015年）、「Noemi Weber/ Nobuyuki Osaki」（ルートヴィヒ・フォーラム・アーヘン、2017年）、「アイチアートクロニクル」（愛知県美術館、2019年）など国内外のギャラリーや美術館にて発表を行う。2009年「第12回文化庁メディア芸術祭」審査委員会推薦作品、2013年「VOCA2013」佳作賞、2017年 大阪市「咲くやこの花賞」を受賞。自身の存在を軸に世界を知覚するべく、独自の方法による描かれた絵が溶けていく映像作品や見えない絵画など、リアリティについて問いかけ、不確かさや曖昧な感覚を視覚化する作品を発表。近年の制作では感覚や思考をより深め、記憶や時間概念、人の存在について考察する。

Selected for the 12th Japan Media Arts Festival Jury Selections in 2009, and recipient of the VOCA2013 Award in 2013, and the Osaka City Sakuya Konohana Award in 2017.
Nobuyuki Osaki uses the self as an axis through which one perceives the world, and meditates about reality with a unique method of creating invisible drawings, and films which images fade away. His works visually transcribe the feeling of uncertainty and vagueness. In his recent works, Nobuyuki Osaki deepens his perception and thoughts, reflecting on the concepts of memory and time, as well as human existence.

斉藤幹男（アーティスト）

1978年札幌市生まれ。2007年シュテーデル美術大学(フランクフルト、ドイツ)卒業、マイスターシューレ取得。 手描きの絵によるアニメーションやCGなど様々な種類のイメージを組み合わせ、アナログ・デジタル双方の魅力を引き出す映像作品を主に制作し、国内外のギャラリーや美術館等で作品を発表している。2009年より札幌を拠点とし、市民参加型のワークショップ形式の制作も積極的に行っている。近年参加した主な展覧会に「Tooth Fairy Museum」(A4美術館、成都、中国、2019)、「Keelung Ciao」(基隆、台湾、2017)など。

Born in 1978, in Sapporo. Graduated from “Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste Städelschule” (Frankfurt, Germany) in 2007, Meisterschulen.
Mikio Saito combines various kinds of images, which are animations by hand-drawing, Computer Graphics, mainly creates video works which focused in the attraction both of analog works and digital ones. Exhibited in in art museums and galleries in Japan and abroad. From2009, lives in Sapporo, he produces workshops involved with citizens actively. Main exhibitions include ” Tooth Fairy Museum”(A4 Museum Chengdu, China) in 2019, “Keelung Ciao”(Keelung, Taiwan) in 2017.

高橋喜代史（美術家/一般社団法人PROJECTA ディレクター）

1974年北海道生まれ。境界や領域を考察し、異なる文化や言語、価値観を組みあわせた多面的な作品を制作。近年は人々の関心/無関心にまつわる映像インスタレーションを発表。主な展覧会として、フランス、ニュージーランド、北アイルランドでの個展、カナダ、ドイツ、中国でのグループ展など札幌を拠点に国内外で活動。1995年ヤングマガジン奨励賞、2000年ビッグコミックスピリッツ努力賞、2010年JRタワー「アートボックス」グランプリ。2012年より、500m美術館の企画展、札幌駅前通地下歩行空間でのPublic Art Research Center [PARC]やThink Schoolなどの企画や運営を行う。2015年一般社団法人PROJECTA設立。

Born in Hokkaido in 1974. Kiyoshi Takahashi considers boundaries and territories, as he produces multifaceted works combining different cultures, languages and value systems. In recent years, he has produced video installation works revolving around people’s interest and indifference. Based in Sapporo, Kiyoshi Takahashi is active in Japan and overseas, and his main exhibitions include solo exhibitions in France, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, as well as group exhibitions in Canada, Germany, and China. He received the 1995 Young Magazine Encouragement Award, and the 2010 JR Tower "Art Box" Grand Prix. Since 2012, he has planned and operated exhibitions and projects such as [PARC] and the Think School in Sapporo Odori 500-m Underground Walkway Gallery, and Sapporo Ekimae-dori Underground Walkway. He established the general corporate foundation PROJECTA in 2015.

五十嵐淳（建築家 / 株式会社五十嵐淳建築設計事務所 代表）

五十嵐淳の作品は、北海道の風土や気候条件、風景との共生を前提としながらも、建築の普遍的な価値を問いかけている。それは建築単体の存在を超えて建築のはじまりの姿にまで思いを馳せながら、常に「人間の原初的な居場所」という「状態」を模索し続けている。北海道の環境を読み解きながらも豊かで独自の空間を生み出している。その思想や概念は国内はもとより海外からも注目を集め、2005年には日本人として初めてBARBARACAPPOCHINビエンナーレ国際建築賞グランプリ(イタリア)を受賞した他、オスロ建築大学にて客員教授として教壇をとり、海外での講演会も多数。著書に「五十嵐淳状態の構築」(TOTO出版)、「五十嵐淳/状態の表示」(彰国社)。主な展覧会に「状態の構築」(TOTOギャラリー間)。主な受賞に第19回吉岡賞、第21回JIA新人賞、2018年日本建築学会賞教育賞など他多数。

Jun Igarashi’s work questions the universal value of architecture, with the premises of our coexistence with the natural features and climate conditions of Hokkaido’s landscapes. While going beyond the mere existence of architectural objects, and keeping at the forefront of his mind the image of early architecture, Jun Igarashi continues to explore the “state” defined as the “primitive place where humans belong”. He creates original and plentiful spaces by decoding Hokkaido’s environment. His thoughts and concepts gathered attention both in Japan and overseas, and, in 2005, he was the first Japanese national to be awarded the Barbara Cappochin International Biennale Architecture Award Grand Prix. He is a visiting lecturer at Oslo School of Architecture, and has given many lectures abroad. His books include "The Construction of a State" (TOTO Publishing) and "The Indications of a State" (Shokokusha). Main exhibition: The Construction of a State (TOTO Gallery Space in Nogizaka, Tokyo) in 2011. Main awards include the 19th Yoshioka Prize, the 21th JIA Rookie of the Year Award, and the 2018 Architectural Institute of Japan Education Award.
